Originations
A pioneer in holography, Hologram. Industries has developed some unique optical technologies. Based on interferential microlithography and digital holography, these techniques enable etching of optical microstructures on areas of micrometric dimension. Moreover they can be combined, offering countless possibilities in terms of design and increasing the difficulty of imitation.
Hologram. Industries has employed its technologies to develop several origination techniques for different applications:
Alphagram® ensures maximal security for state and fiduciary documents. It is notably used to protect 50, 100, 200 and 500 euro banknotes.
Diagram® enables very broad graphic creativity combined with security elements ideal for protection of brand-name products.
Chromogram® and Gyrogram® originations are simplified variants widely used for applications not requiring maximal protection.
DID®
Drawing on research on nanostructures and interferential layers, the DID® is a next-generation optical security image visually quite different from holograms. It takes the form of a design composed of two distinct elements each reflecting a color. The colors switch when the image is rotated 90° in the horizontal plane, making it very easy to use and recognize. The DID® is an exclusive Hologram. Industries technology.
It is possible to combine the DID® with Diagram® or Alphagram® type originations, with the advantages of greater flexibility in the graphic and optical specification of the image, easy control and recognition of the image, and extreme counterfeiting resistance. For example, DID® combined with Alphagram® protect the latest French electronic passport.
