Hologram. Industries uses several techniques to mark its optical components individually and securely. Inkjet, heat marking or laser engraving may be used depending on the product and the need.
Several types of codes are available. Random codes are generated using special software, the principle being to generate in a totally random manner a given quantity of codes to enable unique, authenticatable registration of each product. The codes generated are stored in a database that can be accessed via Internet or a call centre. These codes can be marked in readable form for visual identification and/or in datamatrix-type barcode form for machine reading.
For each application Hologram. Industries studies the client's needs and develops a secure database backed by an implementation and consultation system assuring total traceability of products from factory to consumer. CRM applications can even be added to allow consumers and brands to verify the authenticity of the products.
